Setting up PO numbers in your invoice template

Go to Settings > Invoices > Invoice templates. Click on your template and, via the Translation labels tab, choose which numbering you want to use. You can also adjust the description here. By default, Simplicate offers the following:

  • PO numbers (you enter this in the project)

  • Debtor numbers (you enter this in CRM under the company or person)

  • Project numbers (you enter this in the projectsettings)

Via the Footer tab, you can then specify what you want to display by default in a footer and/or note on an invoice. You can add placeholders [P] to each text field.

Can you change a PO number after sending the invoice?

Yes, you can! You don’t need to credit the invoice, and you can simply change the reference via More > Properties. Afterwards, you resend the invoice to your customer with the correct PO number.
