You can connect Simplicate to AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude and Microsoft Copilot. Once connected, you work with your Simplicate data straight from that tool: ask questions about your customers, sales deals and projects, log your hours, or add a meeting report to the timeline, without opening Simplicate.
On your way to a meeting, for example, you ask ChatGPT by voice for a summary of the customer you are driving to. Afterwards you have your notes added to the timeline right away.
The connection runs through the official Simplicate MCP server (Model Context Protocol) and needs no technical knowledge. You enter one address and log in with your Simplicate account. You automatically get the same permissions you have in Simplicate, so you never see or do more than you are allowed to in Simplicate itself.
AI tools change their screens and settings regularly. That is why we describe the general route here, which applies to every tool. For the exact buttons we point you to the tool's own help pages, which are always up to date.
What do you need?
Your connect address (endpoint). This is
https://[environment].mcp.simplicate.app/mcp. Replace [environment] with the name of your own Simplicate environment, the part before.simplicate.nl.
If you work in picobello.simplicate.nl, your connect address is https://picobello.mcp.simplicate.app/mcp
An account with the AI tool that lets you add your own connector. Whether this works depends on your subscription and your role within that tool. With Claude and ChatGPT this sits on the paid plans, with Microsoft you work in Copilot Studio with Microsoft 365 Copilot. The tool's own help pages list the current conditions.
Our logo, so you can see at a glance that you are working with Simplicate in your AI tool. Handy, but not required.
Are you the administrator of your company account with the AI tool? Then you add the connector once. Your colleagues install it themselves afterwards and log in with their own Simplicate account.
How to connect Simplicate
The route is the same in every AI tool:
In the settings of your AI tool, look for the place where you add your own connector, app or MCP server. It is often called Connectors, Apps or Tools.
Give the connection a name, for example Simplicate.
Paste your connect address:
https://[environment].mcp.simplicate.app/mcp.Does the tool ask for an authentication method? Choose OAuth 2.0 and, if that option appears, Dynamic (with discovery). You do not enter an API key here.
Confirm. A Simplicate login screen opens. Log in and approve the connection.
Test the connection with a question, for example: "Which projects are running at [customer name]?"
Please note: does your browser block pop-ups? Allow them first and try again.
Your AI tool's own instructions

Look up logged hours to check them or take them over.
Add a message or meeting report to the timeline.

Working secure with the connection
The connection works with your own permissions in Simplicate. The AI tool only sees and does what you are allowed to do yourself.
The access token belongs to your specific Simplicate environment and does not work on another environment.
In most AI tools you set per action whether you want to confirm it first, or whether the tool may carry it out without asking.

Check your subscription and your role with the AI tool. Not every plan allows custom connectors.
