It is possible to send UBL invoices with Simplicate, which are electronic invoices that can be automatically processed in accounting software. More and more organisations are adopting UBL and requesting UBL invoices from their suppliers.
For more information about what UBL is, you can read on our partners' websites:
To send UBL invoices from Simplicate, you first need to enable this in the settings. You can do this at Settings > Invoices > General settings:
For each CRM contact, you can specify whether to send them a UBL invoice. This option is available only for customers billed via email. In the CRM record under the 'billing' tab, set 'Send UBL invoices' to 'yes'.
These customers will receive both a PDF and a UBL invoice via email, which their accounting software can automatically process. This UBL invoice is attached as a .xml file.
Our current UBLs do not comply with the 2.1 format. Simplicate offers a Peppol integration, which will support the UBL 2.1 format in the future, replacing our current UBL invoices. Visit our product portal for more details.
