How much have I budgeted overall for a specific hour type, how much has already been spent, and which type of work takes up the most time? The Budget per hour type report answers those questions. Hour types are typically the activities or roles within your organization, so you get insight at exactly that level — and you can see how many hours of a specific hour type still need to be carried out.
Report structure
At the top is the filter bar; below it are two charts (Budget vs spent in hours and in value) and the Detail view (the table).
Budget vs spent (hours)
Shows the budgeted number of hours alongside the hours spent, per hour type. This lets you see where you are approaching or have already exceeded the budget, and where capacity remains.
Budget vs spent (value)
The same comparison, but now in value (€). This lets you weigh the hour types against each other financially.
Detail view
The table shows the budget and spending per hour type, in hours and in value. Use Columns to choose which columns are visible, and use Export to download the data.

Notes
Registration period only affects spending, not budgets.
Note for subscriptions. For subscriptions, you set a budget per subscription cycle in Simplicate, so you see the budget per cycle here, while spending shows the total spending. Budget and spending are therefore not directly comparable. To see the annual budget of your monthly subscriptions, filter on Invoice method (subscription) and Cycle (month), export the table, and multiply the budgets by 12.
