Which clients bring your organization the most results? What project result has been achieved over a certain period? These are the questions answered by this report. The main KPIs in this report are: billed revenue, cost price of goods sold, gross margin, employee cost price, and project result.
The report is divided into three tabs: Gross Margin, Project Result, and a Detail View.
Gross Margin
In the 'Gross Margin' tab, the gross margin is shown in three graphs: Gross Margin per client, Gross Margin per period, and Gross Margin per project manager. Gross Margin is calculated as:
Billed revenue - Cost price of goods sold
Project Result
In the 'Project Result' tab, project result is displayed in three graphs: Project Result per client, Project Result per period, and Project Result per project manager. Project result is calculated as:
Billed revenue - Cost price of goods sold - Employee cost price
The project result thus shows the added value of projects. On this tab, you can see which clients (top 10) and project managers have contributed the most to the project result in a selected period. Click on a client to see from which periods the result was built up and which project managers were responsible for this result.
Detail View
The Detail View is made up of the following components, some of which are hidden by default. If you want to reveal the hidden fields, right-click on the top of the table. Then you can add the desired fields and hide the remaining fields:

Business Cases / Application
Use this report to determine which client brings you the most revenue in a given period and which project manager is responsible for the most project result. Additionally, you can visualize which period contributed the most to the result. Keep in mind that for project results, we look at what you billed in the period minus your costs in that same period. If you don't invoice on a monthly basis, then a result per month in this report may not be very informative.
Do you see a disappointing result with a certain client? Click on that client or select that client as a filter on the right to find out when this result was achieved and which project managers were responsible. Then, check the Detail View to find out, for example, which standard services caused the results.
