For instance, it may be that Consulting is highly billable while Development hours are not. To keep your organization healthy, it's important to find a good balance. This report helps with that, including by providing insight into the trends over time.
Total Billable in Period
To avoid having to manually add up all the services, this KPI provides insight into the total billability for the selected period. It is not yet broken down by service but gives the initial insight into ‘how many billable hours have we logged in total?’

The formula for this KPI is:
The total sales value of the logged hours in the selected period - corrections to these hours.
This considers all hours logged in the selected period in Simplicate. Any corrections (additions or write-offs) made to these logged hours are subtracted, which can also have a positive effect when more hours are added than written off.
Additionally, “total logged” provides insight into the total value of the logged hours, excluding corrections. The difference between these numbers shows the corrected value for the selected period.
Development per Month
When selecting a period of 2 years, it’s interesting to see if the sales value increases, decreases, or fluctuates in a certain cycle. For this reason, the development per month is also included in this overview.

This KPI provides insight into the most billable services. Based on this, you can determine which services generate the most sales value.
Billability per Service
In combination with the billed revenue reports, you can discover whether the services with the highest sales value also generate the most revenue.
This is automatically displayed from high to low, so you can quickly gain insight into the most billable hours. When you click on one of the services, the other reports will adjust accordingly. This allows you to quickly gain insight into trends and total values per service.
**Total Billable in Period, broken down by Relation
Here, the billable hours per Relation are displayed to view the composition of the numbers from a different perspective. This KPI provides insight into the interaction between trends, billable services, and Relations. You can now zoom in on the (largest) Relation and see which services are delivered there, which are the most billable, and what the trend is (per service).
