This allows you to create a clear proposal by splitting your services by product, project phase, invoice method, or for example by entity (when you create a single quote for multiple entities).
Good to know: Service groups do not appear on projects, and therefore they also do not appear on the invoice.
Adding groups
On the page where you add services, you can also create 'groups'.
Using the "Add" button in the top left, you can create a group or a service.
When you don't create any groups, the services will appear as a list at the top of your screen. Essentially, you're working the way you always have, without groups.
Reordering by dragging
Services and groups can be reordered using drag-and-drop. By hovering your mouse over the six dots in front of the service or group and 'grabbing' it, you can drag the rows.
Auto-grouping
When you want to group by invoice method, you can use the 'Group by invoice method' feature. All services that have not yet been grouped will automatically be placed in a group per invoice method.
Groups on the quote
Groups created on the services page are also shown on the quote. There you can set up further configuration of the quote. In this example, we group by one-time investments and subscriptions.
Displaying grand totals
You have now grouped your services by phase, invoice method, or otherwise. It may therefore be useful to provide a final overview of the total investment. A content block is available at the top of the quote editor for this purpose. It can be added just like text blocks, for example, and can be configured on the right side just like a price table.
This grand totals block lists the services across all groups once more, organized by invoice method. This provides a summary of the complete offering when needed.
Renaming invoice methods
Invoice methods can be renamed on the quote. You do this in your quote template or per quote on the right side in the general settings of the quote. The custom descriptions you enter are then applied in the price table and the grand totals block. This allows you to align the invoice method descriptions with your target audience or translate them into any desired language.
