In the sales settings, you can select whether a quote number should be created per sales process or per individual quote. Each sales process can have one or multiple quotes; depending on the settings, these will receive one or multiple numbers.

You can apply your own numbering for the quotes you send.
You can change this via Settings > Account > Company Profile. You can maintain a separate numbering for each company profile. Open the company profile for which you want to modify the numbering and then go to the “Quote” tab:

Next to “Counter quote number,” you can enter your preference. On the far right, an example of this is displayed so you can immediately check how the numbering will appear.

Next to “Next quote number,” you can set the starting number for the first quote. Simplicate will then begin quoting from this number. After that, you determine whether each individual quote should receive a unique number or whether this should be done per sales process.

In the project settings (Settings > Projects > General project settings), you set whether the project number should be automatically adopted from the sales process.
When this option is turned off or if a project is created without a sales process, a project number can be chosen manually. In that case, there are various options to configure your project numbering.
