Editing the Accompanying Email

You can change the accompanying email sent with your quote to your own text. This way, you don’t have to manually draft the email for each quote. You can still deviate from this text when sending the quote. You set up the email via the quote template (Settings > Sales > Quote Template).

Setting Up the Email Template

To set up the email template, navigate to the 'Email' tab within the template.

Here, you can set a fixed subject line and email content using standard texts and placeholders. The email content can be entered under ‘Email Content’. The grey-shaded texts are 'placeholders' and are automatically filled based on entered data, for example in CRM. You can add these placeholders by clicking 'Insert placeholder' and selecting the desired placeholder from the dropdown menu.

NOTE: We recommend always typing the text directly into the text blocks instead of copying from another program (such as Word). Copying may carry over formatting from the other program, which can result in an undesired display in Simplicate.
