In Insights, some reports are grouped together in a dashboard group. A dashboard group covers one topic — for example, your employees' hours — from multiple angles. You open the group once, set your filters, and then switch between reports using the tabs: your filters stay in place.
On the Insights page, a dashboard group appears as a single tile among the individual reports. The tile of an individual report opens that report directly; the tile of a dashboard group opens the group with all the reports it contains.
Opening a dashboard group
Go to Insights and click the group's tile. The group opens on the first report, and at the top you see the group's reports as tabs.
The tile also lists the group's reports separately. Click one of those and the group opens on that tab right away — handy when you already know which report you need.
Switching between reports
Use the tabs at the top to switch between reports within the group. The tab bar stays visible as you scroll through a report, so you can always switch without scrolling back to the top.
Each report in the group shows a different angle on the same topic. In Hours per employee, you can look at the completeness of hour registration, productivity, billability, and result in sequence — always for the same selection of employees and the same period.
Filters apply to the entire group
The filter bar operates at the group level: what you set there applies to all reports in the group. When you switch tabs, the next report keeps the same filters. You don't need to filter again for each report.
The filter bar combines the filters from all reports in the group. Columns and sorting are set per report: they belong to the tab where you configure them.
Saving a custom view
The view menu is in the top right of the group and works — just like the filters — across the entire group. By default it is set to Default view. With Save new view you save your filters under a custom name; next time you retrieve them in one click and the entire group is set up correctly right away. You update an existing view with Save and rename it via Edit view name. With Restore view you revert your changes back to the saved settings, and with Delete view you remove a custom view.

The remaining reports appear as individual tiles on the index page.
Things to keep in mind
You only see the groups and reports you have access rights for. If you're missing a group or a tab, check Insights: restricting reports to see which rights are required.
