The revenue forecast gives you an overview of the amounts you can invoice now and in the future. The bar chart provides a quick overview of the revenue to be invoiced.

For a detailed view, you can consult the table. This initially shows the revenue to be invoiced per service. You can zoom in on the projects by clicking on the bolded service description in the far-left column.

Report Logic

The period in which a project's and/or service's expected revenue is shown depends on the invoicing method and/or the 'to be invoiced from' date.

Invoicing Methods

  • Fixed price: The revenue is always shown in the period derived from the 'to be invoiced from' date, which you set for the specific service.

  • Actual costing: The revenue is initially shown in the period derived from the date of the work performed. However, if the hours are not invoiced in that period, the revenue to be invoiced will shift to the current period.

  • Subscription: The revenue is primarily shown in the period corresponding to the subscription cycles to be invoiced. However, for subscriptions, any remaining revenue to be invoiced from past periods will no longer be shown in the revenue forecast.

Filters and Options

In the revenue forecast, you can filter by the known invoicing methods. You can also filter by Company Profiles, Teams, and Project Leaders. In addition to these filters, you'll find several display options. You can choose to view the report with periods of a month, quarter, half-year, or a year. You can also group the revenue by service or revenue group.
