Subscription Changes

You can make any changes to your subscription yourself in Simplicate. This article explains how this works and how it is processed.

After starting with Simplicate, you are free to make certain changes to your subscription. These changes are automatically processed starting from the next cycle.

Number of Active Users

The number of active users is automatically tracked by Simplicate (these are literally all employees with an active login. Blocked users are therefore not considered active users).

You will receive the invoice based on the users you have processed yourself. This may differ from the number of active users.

Adding a User

If you want to create an additional user while your subscription has reached the maximum number of users, Simplicate will ask whether you would like to expand your license. By clicking 'agree', you expand your subscription by 1 user and will receive a prorated invoice for this.

Blocking / Deleting a User

Note: your subscription is not always automatically adjusted downward when you block or delete a user. You will receive a message via a pop-up in Simplicate with the option to adjust the subscription:

The number of licenses is not automatically updated because there can be multiple reasons for blocking or deleting an employee. For example, you might delete or block a user to create a new one afterward. A license is therefore not tied one-to-one to an employee.

Curious how changing users affects your license costs? This is explained in the following support article:

Changing the Subscription Cycle

You can pay your license annually or monthly. Most customers choose annual payment because it gives a 15% discount on your license.

However, it is also possible to change the cycle mid-term.

If you are paying monthly, you can change this to yearly yourself via Settings > Subscription.

If you are paying yearly and want to switch to monthly, please contact our support team by sending an email to [email protected].

Changing the Plan

If you want to upgrade or downgrade your current plan, please contact our support team by sending an email to [email protected]. Downgrading your plan will be implemented and invoiced starting from the next cycle. Upgrading your plan will be implemented and invoiced immediately.
