Licenses
Simplicate offers two types of licenses: a monthly license and an annual license. Below you'll find the cancellation process for both license types.
Monthly License
Cancelling a monthly license requires a one-month notice period. This means the account owner must send an email to [email protected] at least one month before the renewal date of the subscription. You can find the renewal date in the system under Settings > Account > Subscription. To ensure a smooth cancellation process, please include the following information in your email:
Name of the organization
Desired cancellation date
Reason for cancellation
Once the email has been received by the support department, you will be contacted within a few days. We are happy to schedule a call to guide you through the cancellation process and clarify the next steps. If you've cancelled one month in advance, you will still have 30 days to export your data from the environment. After this period, the environment will be blocked.
Simplicate offers standard export options within the software to allow you to export your data upon termination.
Example: You’ve started a monthly subscription with Simplicate on January 1, 2020, and want to cancel it as of August 1, 2021. Then it is important to notify us of your cancellation before July 1, 2021.
Annual License
Cancelling an annual license also requires a one-month notice period. This means the account owner must send an email to [email protected] at least one month before the renewal date of the subscription. To ensure a smooth cancellation process, please include the following information:
Name of the organization
Desired cancellation date
Reason for cancellation
Once the email has been received by the support department, you will be contacted (within a few days). If you've cancelled one month in advance, you will still have 30 days to export your data from the environment. After this period, the environment will be blocked.
Simplicate offers standard export options within the software to allow you to export your data upon termination.
Example: You’ve started an annual subscription with Simplicate on January 1, 2020, and want to cancel it as of January 1, 2021. Then it is important to notify us of your cancellation before December 1, 2020.
Read-Only License
When you decide to stop using Simplicate, you will no longer have access to your account or insight into your data. If you would still like to retain access to your data, you can opt for a read-only license.
A read-only license grants one user access to the Simplicate environment and allows, for example, invoices to be viewed. Additionally, it includes access to the standard export options.
The cost of a read-only license is €70 per month. It is always a monthly subscription. If you are considering this option, please contact our support department by emailing [email protected].
The read-only license is valid for 1 year by default and will be automatically terminated after one year, after which the environment will be blocked. Early cancellation of the read-only license is possible with a one-month notice period.
