This article explains how to register declarations in Simplicate:

  • Via Register > Calendar view

  • Via Register > Timesheet view

Note:

  • This article only covers how to register declarations. Before you can use declarations within Simplicate, you need to activate this feature. The following article explains how to do this and what to pay attention to:

  • If you want to add an attachment, such as a receipt, to a declaration, you need to specify this per cost type. You can do this via settings > projects > cost types > open the cost type > check ‘allow attachment’.

Declarations via Register > Timesheet View

Go to the Register tab and select the timesheet view in the top right corner. The bottom input field is for registering Expenses > click on ‘new row’.

You will get a pop-up window where you can select the project, service, and time type. Then click the green ‘Add’ button:

After adding a line, you can enter the amount or number of declarations in the boxes, depending on whether the cost type is a 'price per unit' or not:

You can also add an attachment to the declaration. You can do this by opening the declarations at the day level. Click on the day/date of the declaration:

You will then see the screen below, where you can add an attachment via the paperclip icon. Next to it, you can add another declaration of the same cost type on the same day to the project and service.

An overview of your attachments can be found in your Project > Costs > Cost details. For each declaration, you will find the button to show the corresponding attachment under the ‘Actions’ button.
