Companies & Persons

If you have companies or persons in your CRM overview that are no longer in use, you can deactivate them by unchecking 'Active'. You'll find this function when you open a company or person and go to the 'Company or personal data' tab.

When you uncheck this setting, the relationship will be given the status 'Inactive'.

Inactive relationships will not be shown when you want to create a new sales pipeline, project, or invoice.

Filtering for active and inactive companies or persons

By default, the CRM overview for companies and persons only shows active relationships. By filtering on 'inactive' in the right-hand menu, inactive relationships will also be displayed. If you filter on 'all', both active and inactive relationships will be shown.

Contact Persons

Deactivating contact persons works the same way as deactivating persons and/or companies. If a contact person is set to inactive, they will still appear in the contact person overview.

You can identify inactive contact persons by their 'inactive' status.

Exceptions when you cannot deactivate a (contact) person

You cannot deactivate a person if that person is set as:

  • 'Attention of' in the 'invoicing' tab;

  • The default recipient in the 'invoicing' tab;

  • A contact person specified for an active project;

  • A contact person specified for an open sales pipeline;

  • A different contact person specified for projects as a different debtor;

  • An employee of your organization.
