Within CRM, interests can be set for companies, contacts, and private person. You can configure these via Settings > CRM > Interests. For example: you may want to specify per relation whether or not they are allowed to receive the newsletter.
By selecting this interest for all relations that are allowed to receive the newsletter, you can easily generate an export list with all email addresses to which the newsletter can be sent. You can specify for each interest on which CRM relation the interest may be recorded.
Click ‘New’ in the top right of your screen to add a new interest.
To use interests in CRM, the following checkbox under Settings > CRM > General settings must be selected.
When you set an interest as available at both the person and contact person level, you can set the interest for the same person in two places. For a contact person, you do this at the company where the person is a contact, in the 'Contacts at this company' tab.
If you want to set an interest for a person or company, you do this in the CRM profile of the person or company.
When you set an interest at the contact person level, but not at the person level, this person will still appear when you filter on the interest in CRM.
