For a Time and expenses service, you can specify per hour type whether those hours should be invoiced. Each category has an “Invoiceable" status:
If you uncheck this option, all hours logged under that time type will not appear in the invoicing module.
This is particularly useful in sales processes, where you want to track hours but not bill them to the client.
These hours are counted as productive, but they are not treated as invoiceable.
As a result, they reduce billability in your hours reports.
Essentially, they’re considered internal hours recorded for a (prospective) client.
