Link Slack to Simplicate

To install the Slack integration, navigate in Simplicate to Settings > Account > Add-ons and Integrations:

Click on the Slack Integration and then click the green button 'Configure Slack integration'.

You will then be redirected to a page where you can select the Slack workspace to link and log in to Slack.

After logging into Slack, you will be redirected back to Simplicate, where you will now see all public channels.

Note: The Slack integration cannot send notifications to private channels.

Linking Slack Accounts for Employees

Now that the Slack integration is activated, employees can individually choose to receive notifications in Slack. To set this up, go to 'My Profile', located in the top right corner of Simplicate.

Click on 'Link Slack User'. You will be redirected to Slack’s website, where you need to log in and approve the connection.

Once the connection is successful, you will see a confirmation.

The employee will now receive Simplicate notifications in Slack.

Setting Up Notifications for Channels

Notifications that are relevant to a group of employees can be easily sent to the appropriate Slack channel. To configure this, go to Settings > Account > Notifications.

Slack channels are now available as options under "Recipients". These channels are recognizable by the hashtags before their names.

Note: Only public channels in Slack can be selected to receive notifications.

Examples of Slack Integration
