Per project, you determine which services you provide to the customer. This also determines per service how you want to invoice it. This can be done in three different ways within one project:

  • Fixed-price services

  • Subscriptions

  • Services based on post-calculation

Determine per project which types of services apply. For each type of service, also use the corresponding help article. See the example below for a brief description of a project that includes the different types of services.

Example

A web agency is going to build a website for a client. This website is delivered for a fixed price of €15,000. In addition, the client purchases hosting from the agency, which is an annual subscription of €40. After delivery of the website, additional work turns out to be required. The additional work is charged based on time and expenses.

Service overview

Another two examples can be found in the overview below. Here, an example of a project overview is outlined, including services, revenue groups, hour types, and cost types. When you are able to complete this scheme for your organization’s overall services, you can get started with the setup.
