Secure the Simplicate account of all your users with a strict password policy + set up login via Microsoft or Google.

To best secure your Simplicate account, you can choose to use a strict password policy.

Making use of a strict password policy

With this policy:

  • You can determine the validity period of everyone's password, so that each user has to set a new password regularly.

  • You can be sure that your users are using strong passwords.

  • You will receive an email notification when someone logs into your account from an unknown device.

To use the strong password policy, go to Settings - Account - Account Settings - Password Preferences. Here you can check the option and immediately determine what the validity period should be. The maximum validity of a password is 52 weeks.

On this page, you will also find the option to adjust the duration of login sessions. In the article below, you will find how to adjust this duration for all users:

Setting a password

Next, you can set your password. The password chosen will only be accepted if it consists of at least 10 characters, 1 uppercase letter, 1 number, and 1 special character.

Logging in via your Google or Microsoft account

It is also possible to log in with your Google or Microsoft account.

If you want to use the 'Login with Google' functionality, for example, the Google email address must be set for the user to be able to log in. The same applies if you want to use your Microsoft login.

Note: This functionality is disabled by default and can be activated via Settings > Account Settings > Password Policy.
